Anne Arundel County Fire Department

The Dive Rescue Team of the Anne Arundel County Fire Department consists of members from various assignments throughout the Department. The team provides service for incidents involving rescue diving, ice rescue, and rapid water emergency.

Anne Arundel County, Maryland is located south of the City of Baltimore.  The fire department covers 588 square miles of land and 172 square miles of water located on the western shore of the Chesapeake Bay. Anne Arundel County has a population of over 750,000.

The Dive Unit and large Zodiac are now housed at Station 8,

Annapolis Neck,

 with a compliment of divers.
